Learn How to Be the Biggest, Brightest Energy in the Room!!!

This week, I’m going a bit “woo-woo!” Yes, that’s right, I’m getting deep into energy, the Law of Attraction, and just how POWERFUL we are! Are you ready for some fun?!? If you don’t know it yet, you’ll know it now, but we are WAY more than these physical bodies that we walk around in! I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but everything is energy. Everything. If you looked at a piece of glass or a piece of wood under a microscope, you could see the movement. Crazy creepy in a way, but so, so cool!

Here’s an exercise to show you how easy it is to do. Hold up both your hands in front of your face, palms up. Look at your non-dominant hand. (For me, that would be my right hand since I’m left-handed.) Then, stare at that hand, imagining it is growing, your fingers are stretching far, far up to the sky. Your hand and fingers keep getting longer and longer. Then, hold your two hands together lining up your fingers and LOOK AT HOW MUCH BIGGER YOUR non-dominant hand is! It’s so powerful! If we can expand the energy of our hand, then we can expand the energy of our entire being!

So, if we are all energy, which we are, how can we make this work FOR us in our lives? The answer is to BE THE BIGGEST ENERGY IN THE ROOM!

How do you do that? Let me explain three ways to make that happen:

Set the Intention Prior to Entering Anywhere

Just before I enter any room — whether it be a networking event, a party, a family gathering, some place where I want to be able to be seen and see who I need to see — I always set the intention right before I enter to “expand my energy.”

What that means is, specifically, I close my eyes, I imagine my heart is lit up like a big, bright light. It’s shining out through every pore, every cell of my body, then beyond the room I am in, beyond the building, beyond the town, beyond the city, the state, the country, the planet, and into the universe! That’s when I feel so EXPANSIVE! I feel “lit up” and like a bright force. By the way, we ALL should feel that way all the time. We have the power and capacity to do it, but most people don’t know that they are capable of that power.

Doing this practice has led more people to come and talk to me than any other practice. I’ve been asked, “Why are you always so easy to find in a crowd?” or “Why do you always get picked for things?” It’s because I do this practice. It’s not egotistical. It’s smart! Look, if I’m spending my free time going to a networking event, I want it to be worthwhile time! I want to make sure that I meet whomever I’m supposed to meet and support them in every way I possibly can.

Do an Expansive Practice During Your Morning Meditation

When you do your morning meditation, begin to incorporate an Energy Expansion practice into the meditation by imagining that the top of your scalp is opening up. Once it’s open, imagine a bright, beautiful light of liquid gold pouring down into your head and dripping all the way down your body, through every part. As it’s pouring down, imagine that bright, gold light shining bright, lighting up and expanding out like the brightness of the sun. Spend a few moments feeling and being brighter than the sun itself. Then, say a mantra “I am open and receptive to everything this powerful energy attracts to me.” You’ll become like a magnet for so many wonderful people and circumstances. So, pay attention to the signs. Some will be subtle and some will blow you away!

Put a Protective Barrier Around Yourself

This is one of the “Rainbow” Practices I developed and use in my life. I teach my clients to use as well. It’s not in the book, like the “Rainbow Breath Meditation” and the “Rainbow Ribbon of Healing” but I also have a practice called the “Rainbow Ball of Protection.” What it does is keep you safe from any negative outside energy. It doesn’t matter what’s going on outside of us, we must learn the art of not “letting it into our energy field” so it won’t affect us. That is what the “Rainbow Ball of Protection” provides for you.

Here is how it works: whenever you’re in a situation that has the potential to go awry or cause you any pain, discomfort, anxiety, etc., you simply close your eyes and imagine that a giant rainbow glass ribbon is wrapping around you into a ball. The ribbon looks like beautiful stained glass in a church — multi colored (like the rainbow). It’s sheer so you can see through it, but it’s hard glass so nothing can penetrate it. The metaphor is you can see what’s going on but it can’t touch you. That way, you’re able to be in toxic conversations and situations without letting it affect you in any way. This is so, so powerful!!!

Expand your energy…because it’s easy, it’s powerful, and it is so much FUN! Try these simple techniques and let me what manifests for you!

Your Words Matter!

In the past, I’ve written on the subjects Watch What You Say! and What Questions Do You Ask Yourself? Today, I’m writing on the topic Your Words Matter. The reason that I focus so much on words and language is because it’s in what we SAY that brings into our lives what we have.

In my opinion, there are three layers to “Your Words Matter.” They are:

Layer 1: Whatever you say is bringing you what you are currently experiencing, and giving you more of what you’re saying, whether you want it or not!
Layer 2: Whatever you say to another is having a permanent, lasting impression on them.
Layer 3: The universe is infinite. So, whatever we say and think lives on infinitely!

If you say something negative about yourself or about someone else, that becomes YOUR truth. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks or says. It only matters what you do. Therefore, what you say and the way you say it becomes your reality.

Here’s an example. A client of mine that I worked with recently was very upset. She was feeling completely overwhelmed by everything she had on her plate. She had a lot to do, and so many perceived “problems” she had to take care of. She kept saying, “why do I keep getting more and more problems to deal with? It’s like as soon as deal with one problem, I get another one! I wake up in the morning worried about them and ask myself ‘what else could go wrong in my life today?’ And the problems keep piling up!”

I told her to STOP using those words and that language! The way the universe works is we get what we talk about. So, stop talking about your “problems!”

The universe is literal and the only word (or energy) understood is the word “yes.” So, if you keep focusing on “problems” you are going to get more “problems!” As challenging as it is sometimes, what you need to do is to just pause for a moment, think about the words you’re using and the thoughts you’re having about them, then SWITCH them around to something more POSITIVE.

Now, that isn’t always easy to do in the moment. In that case, just make the words and thoughts softer, so the energy can move more towards a positive, easy flowing result. In this instance, I suggested she change her words to, “I’m doing okay, and I know that everything will turn out alright for me.” In just that subtle shift, all of a sudden, she started feeling a little bit better, and her day started to turn around for her! It was THAT easy!

Here are three ways to create awareness to the words you’re using and their direct effect on what is showing up for you in your life:

Read Don Miguel Ruiz’ book, “The Four Agreements”

The first of the four agreements is “Be Impeccable With Your Word.” He states that this is the most important of the four agreements because “through the word you express your creative power. It is through the word that you manifest everything. Regardless of what language you speak, your intent manifests through the word. What you dream, what you feel, and what you really are, will all be manifested through the word.” This book is so beautifully written and easy to understand how important what we say, think, feel and do is all directly related to what we have an experience in our lives. He very eloquently reveals our limiting beliefs that steal us from our joy.

If you’re not happy with your current circumstances, ask yourself “What Am I Saying or Doing that’s yielding me these results?”

That’s a POWERFUL question! Once you ask yourself this question, sit in quiet thought for a moment or two and allow yourself to give you the answers you’re seeking! Trust this process, because the answers WILL come! If you’re agitated with someone, ask yourself what you’re thinking and feeling about them that’s causing that emotional response. If you could stop, pause for a moment, switch your words to what it is you DO want, wouldn’t that be a worthwhile exercise!?! Because just know…it’s never about the “other person.” It’s about our thoughts, words, and beliefs about them.

Start your Day with POSITIVE, UPLIFTING Thoughts

One of my clients is feeling stressed by all the projects she needs to complete. She’s “hating” her life right how (her words) and doesn’t feel like doing any of them. I suggested she switch her language from “I have to do these projects” to “I GET to do these projects, and how lucky am I that I get to!” That has a MUCH different spin on the energy and attitude she’ll have doing them, and in the end, a much better produced result and outcome!” Therefore, pay attention to what you’re saying and how you’re saying it, and look for the subtle shifts that can literally turn the results around to be more positive!

Here’s the bottom line…You are what you say you are, no matter what. And, you’re the one in control! It’s not outside of you, it’s within you. I hope this helps, and know that you’re doing okay. Each and every time you catch yourself, you get yourself closer and closer to feeling more joy and happiness on a regular basis. So, be well, speak well and live well!

How to Master the Art of Magnetic Manifestation

I love the power of manifestation! But, what is manifestation? How does it work? Why does it work better for some people than it does for other people? How can it work for YOU???

I’m going to show you how you can tap into your own manifestation skills to create the life of your dreams in EVERY area of so you can HAVE IT ALL!

Manifest means to display or show (a quality or feeling) by one’s acts or appearance; to demonstrate; be evidence of; prove; become apparent through the appearance of symptoms. Simply put as it relates to the Law of Attraction, manifestation is the process of thoughts turning into things.

So, how can you dial up your manifestation skills to attract more of the things you WANT into your life and less of the things you don’t want.

What do you want? Is it…

To be in a romantic relationship?

To be healthy and well?

To be wealthy and financially free?

To have a career that you love?

To feel inspired every day?

To be happy?

To be able to live in the present moment without thinking about the past or worrying about the future?

To be so in love with life you can’t believe it???

Well, you can HAVE IT ALL!!! There is nothing stopping you, other than your limiting beliefs! Let’s consider all that exists in the world today. Every single thing started out as a thought or an idea. By the time the thought or idea has manifested, the object to which the thought or idea came from has ALREADY been created vibrationally! The non-physical creation of it is ALREADY DONE! As Bob Proctor says, “If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand.” EVERYTHING is a creation of thought first.

Here are three ways to get you there:

Focus on Where You Are Going and What You Want, Not on Where You Are and What You Have

Take out a piece of paper and on the bottom left side of the page, draw a circle. Inside of the circle, write “YOU ARE HERE” just like you see on directory signs. Next, draw a big circle at the top right side of the page. Inside, write “WHAT YOU WANT.” Then, draw an arrow from the first circle to the second circle.

When you want something, think about this diagram. Picture this in your mind, and focus your thoughts and your words on what it is you WANT, not what you HAVE. Keep thinking about the BIG CIRCLE in the upper right corner of the page. Let that become your “trigger” for remembering to focus all of your energy and attention on what you want! You can’t get what it is you long for from the same thinking place where you are. You must be thinking about your DESIRED OUTCOME.

Talk About Your Life As If You Already Have What You Want

This creates magnetic manifestation. If you’re running a new business, talk about it as if it’s already wildly successful. Talk about your HEALTH, not your sickness. Talk about your relationships exclusively from a place of love and admiration. If you’re in a relationship that is 80% of what you want, but 20% of what you don’t like, focus on the 80%! Your attention to the positive will create more positive! Then, act and imagine that the rest of what you want in the relationship is there…watch how things that would normally drive you crazy begin to disappear!

Release Your Attachment to the “Thing” You Want

This may seem counter-productive to the manifestation processes listed above, but this piece is critical to the speed and outcome with which you attract things into your life!

Don’t be SO focused on your desire for it that you create energy around the fact that it’s not here. Otherwise, it CANNOT come into your life, because more of the energy will be focused on its absence instead of the desire. If you want love in your life, but you have so much thought, focus and attention on the fact that you don’t have it in your life, your love can’t come in! Your energy is blocking him! You must first love yourself and love the idea of VISUALIZING him already in your life! Imagine him in bed with you, eating dinner with you, watching TV with you, going to the store with you, taking walks with you, etc. When you do that in a fun, playful, UNATTACHED way, he can’t help but come into your life!

Other powerful tools for manifesting quickly into your life are:

Journaling: Write about everything you want, and FEEL GOOD while doing it!

Vision Boards: Very POWERFUL way to manifest things into your life.

Gratitude: Be grateful for where you currently are, knowing that you’ll always want more and that it is a journey. We are forever chasing the rainbow until the very end. We are never done wanting, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy where we are right now. Be grateful.

Meditation: When we meditate and quiet our minds, thoughts about what we want flow in. That is especially effective if you struggle with not knowing what you want sometimes. So, allow the thoughts to come and pay attention to them. This is part of manifesting.

Visualization: Spend 10-30 minutes per day DAYDREAMING! Yes, just like a child! Return to that ritual. It is a VERY productive use of time! When you do that, you allow your thoughts to expand, and one desire will help lead into another desire, and so on. You’ll get caught up in the dream and how good it feels, which is what we all want anyway…to feel good! When you feel good, you are even more magnetically powerful because your energy field is wide open!

I could talk and write about manifestation every day! It’s such a blessing and a gift once you know how powerful it is, and how easy it is to do! Pay attention to your thoughts and your words. Focus only on what you WANT. Release your attachment to outcome. Trust that you deserve everything you want and you are limited by NOTHING!

3 Ways to Pay Closer Attention to the Signs

Do you ever notice the signs that are all around you? Take numbers, for instance. Do you ever see the same patterns of numbers? For me, I see 8’s and 4’s everywhere. If you follow astrology or angel numbers, then you know what the numbers represent. If not, 8 is the sign of infinity and represents unlimited abundance. It’s also associated with business, success and wealth. The number 4 means that angels are around you (I always feel Archangel Michael around me), and it also represents stability, calmness and being grounded. The number 4 is also the earth’s number…4 seasons, 4 directions, 4 elements.

Whenever I see them together, 84, 48, 484, 848, 488 etc., I feel my angels letting me know that they “have my back” and are watching over me and guiding me. I smile and feel the love, and I pay attention to what I’m thinking and what I’m doing at the time.

What numbers do you see, and what do they represent to you? If you don’t know, start paying attention to them. I promise you, you have certain numbers that show up in your life. Do you ever see number patterns, like 11:11 on the clock or 123? If you notice patterns like this, you’re being guided! If you don’t know what the numbers mean, google them to find out what the message is you’re supposed to be receiving.

What about music? Have you ever noticed that you may be thinking about someone, then, all of a sudden, a song comes on that reminds you of them? Or conversely, you will hear a song and think about someone and then shortly thereafter, you’ll hear from them. Music is one of the ways the universe guides us. We hear the music, and we become transformed into another time…sometimes it’s a memory from the past, and sometimes it’s a vision or daydream in the future. That is guidance. We need to pay attention to our thoughts and emotions in those moments and think about what the deeper meaning could be.

There are other signs, too. Just like with numbers and music, you may have noticed patterns when the same word or phrase, name, or person keeps coming up. That’s a sign you need to do something about that and take some action! It might be to reach out to that person. It might be to commit to something or release something. When you see and/or hear something two or three times, or more, that is definitely worth noting to pay attention!

Do you ever hear “that little voice” leading you to go one way instead of another, or do something different while you’re doing something else? I hear voices all the time, and no, I’m not crazy. I hear the inner voice that is literally guiding me and pointing me in the right direction. I am not special, though. We all have that power to tune in and hear.

All of these things are signs. These signs are little clues from the universe that is trying to light up and guide your path. There are two ways to do things…the easy way, or the more difficult way. When you pay attention to these little clues and follow the signs, your life moves in a much more effortless fashion.

The problem is most people don’t realize this is happening, and therefore, they miss the signs right in front of them.

Let me tell you how you can create greater awareness of the signs all around you so that you can move through your life with much greater ease. Last week, the subject was about inner guidance and intuition. This week, it’s about the outside guidance. When we pay attention to the outside signs AND tune in to our inner guidance…WHOA, magic happens!

Break Patterns

First, in order to become more aware of these signs, one of the best ways to create awareness is to break patterns and do things differently. For instance, sleep on the opposite side of the bed than you normally do, brush your teeth with your other hand, mix up your morning routine, take a different route to work. By changing up your routine, you’re breaking your patterns of unconscious behavior, which stems from the basal ganglia part of the brain. What happens is we get stuck in a rut, and when we do, we go into cruise control mode. We do things out of habit and our brains fall asleep. We get stuck in our own little bubble of a world, so we can’t see so many of the signs right in front of us. By shaking up your routine, we activate the frontal cortex of the brain, responsible for making decisions, and we can see things more clearly, like the signs!

Know and Believe That Something Much Greater Exists

Second, I hope that if you’re reading this, you know and believe that something much greater is going on in this world than what we can plainly see with our eyes and hear with our ears. With that said, the universal forces and energy are positive and filled with love. The signs we receive are for our own good, for our well-being, and for our protection. The reason I say all of this is because I work with many clients who feel like the whole world is against them. They feel so stuck and depressed, and they believe that nothing will ever go right for them. This could not be further from the truth. I do my best to guide them to instead believe that things are actually always working out for them, but it’s their limiting beliefs, and lack of faith and trust that they are so divinely loved and supported by the universe that keeps all the abundance that they desire away from them. All I can say is that my words will not teach, but I hope these words influence and create an opportunity within you to be open to the possibilities. None of us want to live this life alone, and when we realize that we are never, ever, ever truly alone, there’s comfort and faith in that. Trust the signs and the guidance that comes to you. It’s real.

Ask Questions Aloud

Third, ask for more guidance by asking more questions aloud. If something isn’t going right in your life or you want to know the answers to the questions you have, ask them aloud! Ask loudly and proudly! Ask anything you want! Ask all day, every day, day and night. You WILL receive your answers! You WILL get the guidance you seek! But, you need to be actively looking and listening in for the clues and the answers. They are all around you. So, first ask, then pay attention! (If you don’t know the questions to ask, fear not. I’ll be doing a blog on asking the right questions very soon.)

The signs are all around us and available to us anytime we want to see them. We just need to ask, trust, and PAY ATTENTION! Have fun with this because, I can promise you this, if you master these skills, your life will run a whole lot more smoothly!
