Do you worry a lot about a lot of things? Is it taking over? Is it stopping you from achieving and progressing in your life and living a life to your highest, greatest, fullest potential?
Replace your “worry” with “wonder”
Worry is a word you need to erase and remove from your vocabulary and your life! And, it’s the first word in a 6 Part Series I created called, “Change Your Language, Change Your Life.”
The reason why I started focusing on language as it relates to the Law of Attraction is that I discovered that there was a key missing ingredient in manifestation.
To manifest, you need to do visualization and see what you want in your mind, to get to the “feeling” place as if you already have the desired outcome you want, and to act as if you already have it. However, what I discovered is that if I wasn’t “speaking” that way, the desired outcome wouldn’t happen, or it would take a lot longer to occur. And, the realization came to me one day in an extraordinary way.
Several years ago,
when I was living in Chicago, I boarded the express commuter train to go downtown to work. A girlfriend who I had not seen in a long time boarded the train. We sat together, and I noticed within a minute or two, that she said the word “worry” 5 times. I decided that I was going to play a game with myself and count how many times she said that word on the 40 minute express ride. Are you ready for this?… She said the word “worry” 45 TIMES on the 40 minute ride! I couldn’t believe it. I realized that this sweet woman is worrying practically every minute of the day! It broke my heart!
Later that same day,
I decided to eat lunch at my desk while I worked, and I was listening to a Zig Ziglar recording while I worked and ate my lunch. He began to share a story that got my attention. He said, “Did you know that there are no reported cases of any American Indians who stutter? Do you know why?
In their language, they don’t have a word for “stutter” so it simply doesn’t exist.” Ding, Ding, Ding…the lightbulb went off in my head! I thought about the experience I had that morning with my girlfriend and the word “worry” combined with the story I just heard about the word “stutter” and I thought, “WHAT IF…I decide to remove words from my vocabulary that I no longer want in my life?”
Then, the magic began!
I started removing words from my vocabulary that weren’t serving me. I replaced them with empowering, positive words instead. In this series is, I will share with you the Top 6 Negative Words you need to remove from your vocabulary and the Replacement Words that will empower you instead. When you do this, manifestations and positive shifts begin happening to you in a very magical way!
How to replace your “worry” with “wonder” is where you begin. Worry is a wasted emotion. It’s projected fear into the future. Most things that people worry about never happen.

You need to take it a step back and focus on WHAT YOU WANT, not what you don’t want. When you put your energy towards something that you don’t want with worry, the universe is going to make sure that you get it because we get what we think about whether we want it or not. This is about Law of Attraction, and you get whatever your focus on!
If you worry about…
getting sick: pivot it to the “wonder” of wellness.
about money: start wondering what being wealthy looks like, feels like, and who you would be if you were wealthy.
about never finding your soulmate: focus your attention on wondering what a divine, loving, amazing, passionate, trustworthy relationship feels like!
Just because some condition, experience, memory, or event occurred in the past DOES NOT mean it will be your reality in your future!
A client of mine was worried that her spouse is going to get dementia. There was a family history of it, and she wanted to take him in for testing. She knew it would be a battle to get him to go. She was so full of worry that her future would be one filled with taking care of him and watching him decline. I begged her, “please don’t go looking for a problem, because you will find one!
If your focus and attention is intent on looking for something to be “wrong” you will certainly find something!” We get what we think about, whether we want it or not. It is Law! Thoughts in our minds are the most powerful force in all the universe!
I said, “what if you put pivoted and removed that “worry” out of your life to what you want instead, and started asking yourself, “I wonder what it will be like if his mind is healthy and well, that his brain cells regenerate every day and create happy, healthy, vibrant cells and he gets stronger and smarter all the days of his life!?” Now, that’s much more empowering!
Worry causes stress, and 95% of diseases are caused by stress. Get rid of WORRY! You don’t need it! The brain is a powerful and capable of doing miraculous things! It will do whatever we tell it to!
